Thank you all, who attended and supported this event
Bruce is home now and sends his thanks to all and was very touched by the support from the shooting community.
My wife and I were overwhelmed by the funds raised on our behalf during the benefit shoot on Saturday, January 30th. It is the kindness and warm souls of people such as you that make our small shooting community so very special! Please know that I shall never forget what you have done for us. Thank you very much and God bless every one.

Notes from Bruce
Dear all,
Thank you for the many kind thoughts and prayers since the AD accident on
Sunday. I am a man of deep faith and everyday find myself floating on the wings
of many prayers, it is a wonderful experience!
I also want our community to understand that we have good reasons to feel proud
because I survived what should have been an unsurvivable injury so far from
town. Phil's prompt and technically correct tourniquet placement prevented me
from bleeding out - that leg had a completely severed poplital artery - and 4
minutes is one's life expectancy for that wound if not treated correctly.
Please make sure the EMTs and fire/sheriff personnel plus the lifeflight crew
also get a well deserved "thank you" for doing their jobs in the most
professional way possible. While I obviously wish this AD had not happened, and
I still have a long recovery ahead, because everybody took the correct actions
at the right time I am still here to say "thanks"!

1/16/10 Dear Phil,
I am doing very well, the Day 4 post-op dressing change was today and all of my wounds and skin grafts are clean. That is very good news! I will start lite PT later today and I am hopeful this coming week will include my transfer to a local rehab unit or better yet a home-based rehab program.
I also feel that I am healing well, so this gives me a lot of confidence that I will recover, although it will undoubtedly take months for me to do so.
Best regards,
Bruce
